Born in Australia and based on Sydney's Northern Beaches, Ashley Carlson is an artist drawing inspiration from her natural costal and ocean environment.

Ashley is fascinated by the colours, movement and depth of the ocean from both above and below, and ventures on land by foot, on water by boat and underwater free diving.

Carlson primarily focusses on composition, colour and texture executed using various bodied acrylics and ink on canvas or paper.
